Teaghan MacDougall

Teaghan is a recent graduate from both Sheridan’s Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program and the Advanced Special Effects Makeup, Prosthetics and Props program. She explored her creativity and learned that she loves to use her skills to create full characters and push herself to try new things. She also has expanded her knowledge of sculpting, mould-making and advanced prop making. Teaghan now plans on working in a studio or on film and television sets.

Throughout her schooling, Teaghan jumped at every opportunity to practice her makeup skills that she could. She worked on her high school’s theatrical productions and her local farm’s haunted hayride and barn. There, she learned many valuable skills that would ultimately help her in her future endeavours.

From a young age, Teaghan MacDougall was exposed to many different art forms, thanks to her animator parents. They taught her sketching, painting, mixed media and much more in order to expand her horizons and to explore the limits of creativity. She adored art and knew that one day, she would end up creating masterpieces for the entire world to see. One day, she came across the television show called “Face Off” where her love and desire to create elaborate characters and whimsical creatures was born. From that day on she said: “I’m going to do that with the rest of my life” and she has been on the path to becoming a makeup artist ever since.
